Well, after numerous comments about the "junkie" aspect, we've rebranded to The Pipe Stand. Nice thing about this, is it may end up being a good name for me to sell my restored estate pipes under also. I DID have fun with the domain redirects.. totally forgot to include an nginx stanza for the old domain SSL (with certs) listening on port 443 to forward to the new domain.

I'm hoping. Unluckily I've been tied up the last 2 days installing (and then re-installing) a server for a guy. Figured out Webmin and CentOS doesn't play really good with PHP updates. Works much cleaner on a Debian/Ubuntu system, so I've basically installed 2 servers the last 2 nights (actually about 23 hours total time now). Getting a FB page set up is one of the next projects.

Thanks... it's still a work in progress. I'm debating even keeping an articles section up honestly. There's a LOT that you can do with Pages - I'm just not that advanced yet.

Well, new week, new forum! Just got back into smoking pipes after a 30 year hiatus. Been a fan of cigars for a few years, but wife makes me smoke them outside. For me it's slow to respond almost all the time now. Guess it's on a different host than what @Paul had it on.

Would be happy to spend a little time going over this.. but thanks to a new version of Sequel Pro, two of my site DB's got merged into the linux one - with some tables joining together. Didn't catch it until after all my backup processes had replaced the older good files. Oh well - nothing like redoing one site and working on a new one at the same time.

Really? The Linux site is more an info site for me and where others can post questions if they want. Could it be done by a blog (as far as a reference site) - yes, but not for others to post questions that are easily searchable. Most of them are fairly small also. And pipe smokers are a small percentage (at least in the US) compared to cigar and cigarette - and there are quite a few cigar sites around. They throw a category in for pipes, but it's typically like the bastard step-child.

The limitations on what you can do with promotions and other aspects still chaff me - and is one of the reasons I rank it as low as I do. I am using it now on a new site - but that's because I already had the license paid for and it wasn't doing any good for the other site that has no traffic. This will be more of a niche site and I hope I can eventually get it to take off.
