  • It looks like a excellent festival to attend. image-proxy

  • As it is a sea port it must be great to get the sea breezes. I understand there is one of the largest festivals in the world held in February called Carnaval de Barranquilla I think that would be well worth seeing.

  • quod erat demonstrandum

  • Well done Caribe_Soy. Thank you for posting this.

  • @Paul yes some customers can be like that. However what about the long time customers of VB who were banned for asking valid questions and pointing out the bad things that they perceived were wrong with VB? Mark has said that there are new people now so is vBulletin Parent Company CEO Bob Brisco still the Ceo? Yes it is easy to say things have changed and that is old now and we are now going forward and this is a good thing to do, but the customers who have been banned unfairly, had their commen…

Quote from AnnaMarine: “Quote from meetdilip: “ ” Quote from spidy: “He was ok with the reason and asked me to find a suitable avatar for him which he was then happy with. ” At least he was ok with that and didn't fight for his "rights" ” Very true. I politely pointed out that his avatar was not really suitable for our type of website and could he change it. He responded well and asked me if I could pick an avatar for him. I did so and fortunately he liked the replacement avatar. So all was well…

  • Quote from Paul: “But how is vBulletin 5 now? X/ ” My understanding is that now after many years of working on it, VB5 is a better product than it was.

  • Lets clarify some things, with VB supporters one has to be very word specific as it has been known for them to twist things to suit their point of view. ("This used to happen on another site all the time. Person A posts an untruth. Person B challenges them to prove it. Person A responds with evidence of something entirely unrelated, and claims it's proof of what he originally said. Good job I'm here to debunk this nonsense and post what really happened.") Now the comment by me that seems to be c…

  • I understand that you did not name anyone but for the record I own a VB license and have done so for many years.

  • Quote from GTB: “Quote from spidy: “Paul said he is looking at another site where such things will be allowed. Perhaps we could continue this there? ” What other site? ” Paul posted this in the Randomness thread. "I'm working on a completely different forum right now where these kind of discussions will be welcome. I don't think they belong on an admin forum where you have a membership with very different political views. As Anubis mentioned, they only increase hostility between members, even in…

  • Mark I am quite happy to go a lot deeper into your honesty like when you said this: Well, now I'm going away again. For reasons already made clear previously, I want nothing further to do with any of the admin sites whatsoever. So I'll bid you all good day and wish you the best with your sites. This is not my site and my understanding is that Paul does not wish his site to go this way. Paul pays the bills and it is his site, so I am refraining from disrupting the harmony of the site and being dr…

  • Both Mark B and Birdoprey5 have said similar things like, "I can't recall any vB Support Staff ever making such statements." In order to keep the harmony here, although there are quite a few comments posted by VB staff SUPPORTING VB5. I will only post one, as it is totally illogical for them to say that they did not promote VB5 in the beginning. Yes I agree that after many, many complaints even the VB staff started to advise customers away from it especially for small websites. Lets look at JUST…

I like Pauls ideas. I am not sure if this idea will fit in with your thoughts but you are I think trying to make something unique and eye catching. How about you use the cross as the "T" in the word Christ.? I think this would fit in with the christian theme by having a universally known icon as part of the word? Just ignore me if I am not on the same wavelength as you.

The site scans clean and looks to be reasonably legit. If I wished to try it I would require clarification in writing of their terms especially this one. I like the new look a LOT better. Just a small thing, I feel it would look less "Cluttered" if there was a gap between the words as below. Christ Forums (A gap here) The Protestant Community. Just an idea to make it more symmetrical.

We have only ever had one new member post a bad avatar, I removed it and explained why. He was ok with the reason and asked me to find a suitable avatar for him which he was then happy with.

If I may. The logo seems washed out. As the main part I think it should stand out more and be prominent. Just my two cents worth.
